What was it like going to Creative with the Prince of Punk storyline? How was their reaction?

It was just, you know, it was kind of, there were several times to where, you know, I went with the idea and it was just kind of, you know, like, really, well, I ain't got time for you, you know, kind of that thing.

It was just like, oh, yeah, you know, you sit there and you're trying to explain it, and it's just, okay, well, let me get to you, you know, later or whatever, and we'll talk about it more later.

And then that, you know, obviously that later don't ever come.

And so that's whenever there come a point where I just said, you know, screw it.

And I started, you know, I started growing out my mohawk and just kind of changed my whole ring attire, and I just showed up one day just with my mohawk and just tried to do it on my own, you know, but then, I realized that's not going to do no good either because I'm just going to be sent out and be squashed by the big guys.

I'm not putting a story on where people can really see what I can do or get the people that really care about me.

Today, I wanna talk to you about the all-important intervention schedule.

I'm going to give you three strategies for building a stress-free reading intervention schedule for the first month of school.

This time of year, back to school season, can feel like a whirlwind for educators.

Yeah.

Okay? It can look different in second.

It can look different in fifth grade.

What standard are you looking at? So we need to break it all the way down, and like I said, be very, very laser-focused.

Is it text structures? Are we looking at inferring? Uh, are we looking at comparing and contrasting characters? Get very, very specific, and you wanna even unpack those standards.

I know sometimes schools we do that at the beginning of the year, but unpack that standard so you can really get laser focus and make that your skill deficit.

Same thing like phonics.

Yeah.

Hmm.

I think we live in a society where there is a lot of isolation and loneliness.

We could talk about why that is, but I think ultimately people are looking for community.

Um, and so ultimately, in a practical way, it, it is the way we greet people, the way we engage people.

But I think what we're finding increasingly in the local church is that while, um, the staff or the people maybe on our guest services team do a really good job of welcoming people, they're looking for intentional engagement.

They're looking for relationship.
