I'd love to know if Brian kind of would echo some of that sense of that distinction, but because you obviously work with other county officials, and I wonder if you also see that different perspective.

You know, it is an interesting perspective and a common question that we get in the election office.

People will call us and say, you know, why is the county clerk or maybe the county sheriff or the county recorder or county server, why are they partisan races? That doesn't make sense to some people.

They ask those questions.

And as we kind of think through this, within elected offices, you have representative elective offices, right? and you have administrative elective offices.

So you take like, The governor, for example, the legislative races.

At the county level, you have your county commission races.

such as a nonpartisan election or nonpartisan appointment, and we can count that there won't be some sort of subterfuge of people coming in who don't measure up to that.
