Also already knew that the DEA had joined the investigation, but now a source close to that investigation has confirmed that Hayden's on again, off again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, has actually met with DEA investigators and authorities have interviewed some other people as well.

It's also being reported that local and federal investigators are now focusing on whether someone sold Hayden substances that may have contributed to her death, with one source saying that they're actually zeroing in on a potential dealer.

We know that it was ultimately determined from the local coroner.

that Hayden died from an accidental overdose.

The immediate cause of death, when you read from one of the report, was the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methicarbamol, and quetiapine.

And then we have this 911 call.

Actually, to help me explain what happened here, I wanna go to the case report from the interview with Brian Hickerson, okay? So you go to the report and it says, quote, per redacted, they arrived at Greenville Spartanburg Airport last night from Los Angeles.

Per redacted, he woke up this morning around 10, 10.30 and the decedent was awake in the bathroom putting on her makeup.

It's a desperate struggle to save Hayden Panettiere's life after drug overdose revealed in her, a newly released 911 call audio.

Obviously, this is the call from her boyfriend at the time, Brian Hickerson.

Um, or no, maybe it's Zach Hickerson that made the call, and the u- the audio, which was obtained by CBS, begins with Zach exclaiming, "Oh my God.

Oh my God," as he waits to speak with dispatchers.

According to the South Carolina coroner's report released on Tuesday, Hayden Panettiere, again, she's at the age of 36, was found unresponsel- or unresponsive in an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina on August 16th.

Um, her on and off again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother, Zach Hickerson, were reportedly at the residence.

Um, the Greenville County Coroner's Office said that Hayden Panettiere's system contained fentanyl and a chemical byproduct of the drug, along with an anti, uh, anxiety medication.
