Brett Tingley

Let's dive right into things.

First, I got to mention, of course, I got a really unique assignment from my longtime pal, Brett Tingley, late last week.

You know, I've been doing a bit of writing over at space.com, where Brett is the managing editor.

And he reached out and he said, listen, you know, with Halloween coming up, I've got a weird pitch for you.

Well, again, in my opinion, it's a bit of a stretch.

I don't think there's any connections between all this stuff, but many have tried to make them over the years, as people tend to do.

To me, what I see here is a really intriguing chapter in the history of the American space program, which, like Operation Paperclip and some of the things we'll be discussing a bit later, is sort of on the lesser-discussed side of things when it comes to understanding the history of a space flight, and hence, of course, why Brett Tingley on Halloween thought it would be an intriguing thing for us to publish.

I appreciate the opportunity, and of course, I'll have that story linked to the show notes for you there.

The Dunham Murder is by Robert Wilhelm for Murder by Gaslight.

The Race Car Angel was written by Brett Tingley for Mysterious Universe.

MIB Threaten UFO Hunter is by Laura Roughton for Paranormal Scholar.

The MIB Mythology, which you heard at the beginning of this episode, was written by Justin Sobolik for History.

Um, but yeah, uh, this is a Space.com story.

Uh, my colleague and friend of the show, Brett Tingley, uh, had this piece about this, uh, this bit of space junk that just blew apart in, uh, space, which is, you know, problematic.

You don't want that happening all the time.

It is a, um...
