Yeah, that's kind of the indication I got as well.

My guess is if it's one of the two finalists, either, you know, Brett Peterson or Scott White, I mean, they're both based in southern states.

That's going to require a move for their family.

That's going to require them to kind of, you know, announce everything from a personal standpoint as well.

People do like to gossip a little bit.

So the fact that there isn't kind of any word like this, it lends us to believe that there hasn't been Anything going on? We've mentioned Brett Peterson, the assistant GM of Florida, Kilty.

Also, another assistant GM was in this discussion.

I do know a couple of things.

I know that Chris Draper is basically out of the search or basically out of the discussion.

And then Jeff Greenberg kind of recused himself from the discussion so they can focus on being the GM for the Tigers.

But outside of that, there's been reports on Brett Peterson.

There's been reports of this or that or the other.

I was just told that they were a little bit surprised that, that, that he pulled out.

Um, there are names that we still have heard, whether it's Brett Peterson-

... whether it's Scott White, whether it's Jeff Keilty, whether it's, uh, Sean Horcoff, who's still part of the mix.

Who's the assistant general manager of the Detroit Tigers, has a background working, um, with the Minnesota Wild as well, but he handles analytics for the Tigers.

Like, by that definition, I said to myself, "Okay, I, I could see Brett Peterson i- in, in the mix there too, but-

The only thing that I will add about Brett Peterson from Florida is that the thing that makes him different than the other two candidates that I've learned is that he is a former player agent.

Similar to the Florida GM Zito, he was a player agent before and then came in as a GM.

But I've been told that one of those guys who have not been told yes or yes or no, that they haven't gotten the job.

One of them is Brett Peterson for the assistant general manager for the Florida Panthers.

And I got a text this morning from a source saying, discussing kind of the situation.

This is what my source had to say that, quote, it's not a lock, but it's trending that way.

So be on the lookout for a possible announcement of Brett Peterson maybe being announced.

I can't necessarily confirm it, but it looks like that he has a real big chance to become the next general manager of the Detroit Red Wings, which they are in a little bit of a... they're in a little bit of purgatory right now and they don't really have a direction right now especially with their captain uh wanting out of uh detroit but yeah uh Matthew Kachuk and his curiosity with it, and now Brady Kachuk coming into the mix, it feels like an adjustment.

And the Panthers, at first, you were thinking that maybe they were a little too high on their own supply with the amount of physical forwards that they had.
