I know how much it means to him, but he wants to focus on the here and now, the present.

And exhibition game number two against Connecticut, Tuesday night at Breslin Center.

And these teams met in exhibition play last year in Storrs, Connecticut, and then met again in the NCAA tournament, a four-point win for the Huskies.

Here's Tom Izzo this afternoon at Breslin Center.

Well, it's, uh, believe it or not, it's good to see you all again.

It's been a long s- summer, pretty good summer, um, and an exciting year, I hope.

You will hear three or four of them today.

And wanna start with Coen Carr and, uh, the change in his game, and when you see it, uh, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

But I'm excited to see what it is against like real legit competition, which we're going to get next week.

Our trip to the Breslin Center.

I wonder if they're going to be rowdy there or not.

You think they're getting really rowdy? It's a good, it's a good question.

I'm going to stare at my television.

So you

can get into the Breslin center next Tuesday for 45 bucks.

25, but you gave $25 tickets.

I think it's absolutely incredible.

I haven't gotten the opportunity to play at Michigan State, but the Phoenix Suns and the Detroit Pistons did play at Breslin Center a couple years ago.

So I would love the opportunity before I'm done playing to pray, play a preseason game at Breslin Center and, and, just the nostalgia of stepping on that court again.

Uh, and, and, and the feeling that that give you.

But also for those fans, you know, who may not get an opportunity to see me play, you know, since, since I've gone to Mich- since I've left Michigan State and, and been playing at Golden State.

I think that is the singular fan base that believes that you dislike them the most.

I am coming to the Breslin Center this year.

As of now, I'll share it.

I think I'm penciled in for potentially the Michigan game.

You never know, maybe they do something weird, but I, I doubt it.

If you're wondering when basketball plays next, it is October 20th against UConn at the Breslin Center.

But again, go get our articles on this game at Michigan State Spartans on SI or spartanation.com.

Thank you for listening.

Yeah.

I mean, it's the only time that Breslin Center has ever been used for a funeral.

Yeah.

for a memorial service, I should say.

And I will tell you this.

I think if you were to go to the average MSU student right now and ask them what they're looking forward to the most, the next MSU game or the very first basketball game of the year, every single one of them— It doesn't matter if it's, what, three weeks out, four weeks out, not an exhibition game, obviously, but an actual regular season game.

Every single one of them has their entire heads and mindset focused on Breslin Center.

So we know that football tickets are the most expensive ticket you can buy, right? But I asked a question last night, and I polled the audience.
