So talk to us about false confirmations and the ill wisdom of pursuing them.

And we've all heard this line and we've likely used this line.

Well, that's problematic, isn't it? Because we may not feel peace about a decision because it's out of line with God's revealed will.

So we don't want to feel peace about things that are out of line with God's revealed will.

How do we make the godly decisions in areas like that?

What are some marks of bad listening that might clue us in that more help is needed?

Yeah.

Well, the Proverbs speak about this quite a bit, right? So think of Proverbs ten nineteen, "When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent." And so let's stop the talking, uh, so that we can listen.

Um, but also the, the Proverbs talk about, uh, the person with hasty words, Proverbs twenty-nine twenty.

It says it's someone who speaks too soon.

The person with hasty words is someone who speaks too soon.
