Brennan Carroll

They didn't have a great coach.

They were getting coached up by Pete Carroll's son, Brennan Carroll.

They came out that first game last year, and I was like, I was concerned going into the season, 'cause I was hearing from the guys what type of coaching they were getting.

Then I saw them go out there and execute the first game last year, feet all over the place, eyes all over the place.

I knew his wife.

I knew Brennan Carroll.

I knew his-

Mm.

Pete Carroll stuck his freaking grubby little hands in that offense, and it was shit.

And Brennan Carroll stuck his fucking AIDS-ridden dick all over the O-line.

Yes, I am slandering Brennan Carroll.

I actually don't say that because he probably needs money right now because he doesn't have a job.

We're not cheerleaders, so I'll give you an example.

You know who told me last year that Brennan Carroll was a very good hire, or very fair hire to be the Raiders offensive line coach.

You know who told me that and said he didn't need a job, he was the offensive line coach, they did not want him to leave Washington Huskies.

And when he got here, I know for a fact there were decisions made by Chip Kelly that he did not make, okay? I know that, and I told the fans.

Now, I, I have no dog in this fight.

I'm not a Brennan Carroll hater.

I'm not a Brennan Carroll fan.

But that's all on Chip.

I'm gonna leave it right there.

These guys they didn't it was it was coaching.

It was on Brennan Carroll the offensive line coach.

They weren't getting coached up.

So to see the offensive line come out and have that performance, to see Ashton Gentry just do it in both phases of the game, running the ball, catching out of the backfield.

So I, Go back to the offensive line.

Yeah, there's some things that need to be cleaned up, but I think compared to what the offensive line was last year, and then also, too, Scott, the improvement, and you brought this up not that long ago, the improvement in coaching, like, good Lord, like, just that alone, going from Brennan Carroll and his psycho eyes, as you say, to Rico Dennison, man, like, what a huge upgrade for this team so far.

Wait, is he Rico now? Yeah, Rico.

That's what they call him.

um, You know, he's a guy that's direct and he's honest and he's going to ask a lot out of his offensive linemen.

And there were definitely some issues with Brennan Carroll last year on that Pete Carroll coaching staff.

And I think the players really like how they're being coached by Rick Dennison.

He's straight to the point.

pre-P. Carroll era, wasn't he?

Right, and then took a step back in 2025, but the entire Raiders offensive line took a step back, and you can blame Brennan Carroll and Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly and that whole staff for that.

There were extrapolating factors there.

I loved this signing when they made it.
