Brendan Wayne

a lot of the action set pieces were amazing the stop motion scene was great a lot of the fight scenes oh my god um So good.

I thought it was amazingly great that in the opening credits, we got not only the actor who voices the character, but also Lateef Crowder and and Brendan Wayne.

Right.

Which was like a big deal that you I've never seen action actors get top billing, which is amazing.

And he would look at me cross-eyed like I was a complete idiot.

And then it somehow turned into my accent person, that Brendan Wayne, though, who looked at me cross-eyed like I was an idiot.

Yeah, it all comes full circle.

But yeah, it was pretty funny.

It sounded like a phenomenal, phenomenal event.

Thankfully, even though I couldn't be at Rebel Scum Con, I did get... out to a con myself last weekend as you alluded to ben uh it was fan expo canada here in toronto uh lots of star wars guests came out for this one we had uh three members of the cast of mall shadowlord sam witwer vanessa marshall and gideon adlon uh we also had brendan wayne representing the mandalorian daniel logan representing the prequel trilogy and uh jim cummings just kind of representing all of star wars animations and of course the late addition to the roster uh representing just the saga in general but especially the original trilogy uh mark hamill was also on site uh his first visit to toronto since i'm gonna say 2016 so about 10 years uh he finally made it back uh back up to uh to cs and was in fine form uh he did not need a moderator for his panel he just kind of sat there and told stories of

course yeah uh he did take some questions from the audience and a few of them were like pre-arranged so people got to like go up on stage and ask their question directly to them to him uh one person was dressed as ahsoka um and uh mark looks at her goes wow how do you do all that orange paint do you get it all from the white house uh and Oh, boy.

Which he's had a lot of, to be fair.

Yeah.

And, you know... we've heard all of his star wars stories you know it's it's pretty rare to hear a new star wars story from mark hamill but they're still they're still nice to hear uh but the the big the biggest of all the star wars events of course was not the cast of mall shadow lord it wasn't dan logan or mark hamill or jim cummings or even brendan wayne uh it was of course Star Wars The Untold Stories, my panel, on Thursday at 4.15. Man Expo, for the record, opens at 4 o'clock on Thursday.

So this panel was quite literally one of the first things.

So again, amazing con, but the content wasn't lacking either.

They were able to have, you know, Bryce Dallas Howard, we have her up here on the screen, you know, Brendan Wayne, they had, uh, John Boyega, um, know vanessa marshall dennis hayes that guy the all yeah the all-state guy aka uh master dio daki he was there his first convention ever so it was a gr and the the good thing about it is that the majority of those celebrities they're very approachable they're very you know willing to talk to you of course you know you can't go overboard but um I thought because of the celebrities they brought in, they were so relatable, they were so easy to talk to, that made the event even better.

So they also had a lot of great vendors there.

They had a lot of cool products there.

Absolutely.

But he was able to get the inflatable boom box.

And then what was even cooler is that after that, we were able to get it signed by, uh, the Mandalorian himself, Brendan Wayne.

So David has a, a, An inflatable boom box signed by Brendan Wayne for his birthday.

And Jim Cummings as Hondo Onaka.

Brendan Wayne, one of the suit actors for Din Djarin, will be there.

Lateef Crowder, who is a stunt performer for Din Djarin, is how he's credited.

Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon will be there.

I don't know if Dave will like us whenever Brendan Wayne came on the show Brendan told us that Dave Filoni wears a hat that's too small for him Is that what he said? And then he had to change his hat.

He had to get somebody else's hat.

They were like, that's a children's

yeah it was great it was great to have it was great to see everyone at least at least once uh we were talking before the show hannah was like the hardest to track down because she was working so hard on freaking everything.

Like every time he turned around, she was hanging out with Brendan Wayne.

That's a thing that happens like more than once.

Poor, poor Hannah.

yeah, because I was hanging out with Hannah.

So I made it my goal to meet Hannah that night again.

How was, Chad, how was Brendan Wayne? Did you meet him or was it just Hannah?
