Kylie turned 58, if you can believe that, 58 this past May.

I mean, it seems like only... yesterday that i remember her on the sullivans playing carla i think she was in eight episodes and she was all of 11 years of age and that was her very first tv appearance but you think about that and here we are now 47 years and counting into an astounding career it's been one heck of a showbiz ride i mentioned the sullivans then came a small one episode role on skyways in fact it was significant you know luke because Kylie and Jason Donovan played brother and sister in that particular episode.

And that, for him, was his TV acting debut.

They were both 11, bless them.

Still, well, he's not working anymore, but very much alive and with us, as is her mum, Carol, who was a dancer from the Wales, a fabulous ballet dancer.

She came out to Australia in 1958 as a 10-pound pom, as they used to say.

In fact, she was on the very same ship as the brother Gibbs, the Gibb brothers, which they went on to become the Bee Gees, of course.

Now, for years, Carol worked also as a hospital tea lady.
