Brendan Howe

And now we're gonna transfer from the Whippy hole.

We're gonna, we're gonna matriculate to the Pitt Panthers, and we're gonna bring Brendan Howe in of Pittsburgh Sports Now, my colleague there, and also at steelersnow.com.

Uh, the Panthers headed to Boston College on Saturday, and, uh, that's a game with some level of interest.

I'm not sure that the people are beating down, uh, our doors for more talk about Pitt BC, but the Pitt quarterback situation is a mess, and everybody loves a mess.

For sure.

See you later.

That's Brendan Howe, and we're gonna go straight into our next guest talking about those Pittsburgh Steelers.

Nick Farabaugh, PennLive.com joining the show.

It is Thursday, October 15th, Pittsburgh Steelers have their second practice of week six today at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

I'm on my way there along with Brendan Howe and Ed Thompson for full coverage of SteelersNow.com and continuing to monitor the Steelers injury situation.

Looks like they might get some players back, although everyone was a limited participant yesterday, like Rico Dowdle, Jamel Dean, and Sean Elliott.

Also, I'm missing Keanu Benton at practice yesterday, so we'll keep an eye out for that as well.

I will say,

Brendan.

Traffic Smith reporting for duty.

I'll take some of the flack away from what Brendan Howe has been getting on the channel recently.

So put it on my plate, please, in the comments.

I will definitely take some of that.

PGH is now a site to count SteelersNow.com. Go there, read the words, so we can get paid.

Sign up for SN Plus, and you get all the words with no ads.

I wanna talk about what you talked about with other people and see what was interesting from that.

Uh, Brendan sent something into the group chat about Keanu Benton being the most double-teamed player amongst defensive tackles this year.

Uh, you told me right before we started recording that you got a chance to talk to New about that, and I don't know that he would've been aware of that being the case.

What did he have to say?

Don't worry, we're not cleaning house.

Well, no, no, no cleaning-

Unless Brendan, unless Brendan's listening, then Bird Sports Fan would like the house to be cleaned.

Yeah.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have their first practice of week five today at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

On my way there, along with Brendan Howe and Ed Thompson, we'll have full coverage, along with a practice report.

We'll have afternoon drive today at 6 p.m. here on YouTube and on audio platforms with me and Smitty.

We'll also have a night shift with Brendan and Job around 9, same place.

Then we'll bring in Nick Faribault from PennLive.com to talk more about this Joey Porter trade and the Steelers tonight on Thursday Night Football against the Browns.

We're talking Pitt with Brendan Howe, fantasy football with Jorden Hill, and we'll talk some college football poll talk with Chris Carter, head of that Pitt-Virginia Tech game tomorrow night.

Zachary Smith will have his six-pack.

Steelers topics, Mike Asti on West Virginia, Joe Smeltzer on Penn State, Bob Kamarski making some NFL picks and props, and a grand finale with Jack Hillgrove.

The Panthers are taking on Virginia Tech tomorrow night down in Blacksburg.

Should be an outstanding game.

We'll talk more with Brendan Howe a little bit later to preview that one, but really stay tuned for this conversation with CJ, who transferred to Pitt from Western Carolina yesterday.

along with offensive coordinator Kay Bell a couple years ago and has really developed into quite a nice player for the Panthers, overcame some significant injury hurdles along the way.
