Brendan Gaunce

Fourth line, Tanner Jeannot, Shankar Ali, Marc Kastelic, pretty locked in as the checking line with Patra, Reichel, Steeves, Eyssimont, trying to prove that they belong as the extra forward.

Also in the lineup tonight will be Steeves, uh, Brendan Gaunce, Brian Halonen, Ivan Ivan, uh, Joey Abate, Dan Schlotterbeck getting another look, Riley Duran, Attilio Biasca, uh, Reichel, Eyssimont, and Jake Schmaltz up front.

So you can bet that a lot of eyes will be on Steeves.

Uh, there's probably, you know, Haggen's, Karaly, probably the only two players in this group that are destined for the opening night lineup, and a lot of these guys battling for first man up calls or to be extra forwards.

The other forwards will be Ivan Ivan, his first taste of Boston Bruins hockey after being acquired from, uh, the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Fabian Lysel.

Brendan Gaunce and Brian Halonen will form the fourth line unit alongside Ivan.

Ivan.

So really there's seven forwards who will be in the opening night line-up here, with Geekie, Lindholm, Pasta, Mittelstadt, Zacha, Peterka, Tanner Jeannot being the other guy.

That includes Attilio Biasca and Riley Durand, who are fighting for roster spots.

If anyone gets hurt, it's likely a bottom six grinder like Brendan Gaunce or Sean Kuraly taking a shift and tweaking something.

But officially, it's a clean bill of health.

Good news.

Wanna talk about the drops for this club before I go to the adds.

So in addition to Captain Boone Jenner, Mason Marchment signed as a UFA with the San Jose Sharks for Brendan Gaunce, signed as a UFA by Boston, and Zach Aston-Reese, who we'd mentioned earlier, signed as a UFA by the Philadelphia Flyers.

But in addition to Nichushkin, they also pick up Charlie Coyle.

Actually, they don't pick him up.
