You're listening to Are We There Yet?, the radio show exploring space exploration.

Hi, I'm Brendan Byrne.

More science is on its way to the International Space Station, and a new crew just arrived to help support hundreds of science experiments.

If you're able to take something and have an added dimension to it, a fourth dimension to it, would you not want to take advantage of that? Would you not wanna see how things react differently?

Uh, but again, you just gotta dig into what the science is and, and how we can leverage the space environment to, to really extrapolate that science.

You're listening to Are We There Yet? from Central Florida Public Media.

I'm Brendan Byrne.

We're speaking with Patrick O'Neill, the Public Affairs and Outreach Lead for the International Space Station National Laboratory.

A new crew is en route to the International Space Station after the launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on NASA's Crew-13 mission.

Central Florida Public Media's Brendan Byrne has details.

[rocket roaring] The crew of four includes two NASA astronauts, one from Canada and a Russian cosmonaut.

They launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket aboard the company's Crew Dragon capsule.

This crew is replacing four people who have been on the station since February.

They'll make the trip back home early next week, splashing down off the coast of Southern California.

For NPR News, I'm Brendan Byrne at the Kennedy Space Center.
