Brenda Frese

So she's going to be a problem within the Big Ten 100% and probably nationally to come.

So make sure everyone keeps an eye out for Addie Mac and what she continue can, and what she can continue to do for Brenda Frese's Maryland But we also had another game in Paris.

Played a little bit after, you had Oklahoma versus North Carolina.

You- so both the Carolinas played, [laughs] North and South, and Oklahoma beat North Carolina 91 to 79.

And I will say, too, you got to give credit to Maryland because when we were previewing this episode, we've watched Maryland over the years.

We know how great of a coach Brenda Frese is.

We said they're not going to back down.

They are going to fight and compete until the final buzzer sounds.

OK, she has experience.

She's one of the older players.

Can she be someone that can facilitate as this team starts to gel a little bit more? One more final thought for me, Jared, before we hear from Dawn Staley and Brenda Frese about really that second half and what they're going to take away from from this game is good to see Chloe and Ashlyn back.

It's been a long wait to see them really take the floor.

anything.

Who was Brenda Frese then and who's Brenda Frese now? Are you a different coach? Have you changed through the years? I

think you definitely have to change.

I think experience comes on your side.

And then, Claire, very excited because we actually have a very special guest in this episode.

Maryland head coach Brenda Frese joins us to give us the Maryland perspective on everything.

And it was so cool to talk to her.

We shot it last Friday.

But when they go out there and they compete and win against some big teams, that certainly draws eyes to it.

And especially when you know what this team is kind of fighting for.

Brenda Frese in her 25th season.

Yeah.

Um, Graham Zusi, a highly accomplished soccer player that won two Nattys at Maryland.

Um, and then Brenda Frese, of course, who certainly deserves to be in the Hall of Fame-

Hell yeah

... women's basketball coach.

There's a number of folks going in, but I...

You know, for Sean Merriman, Joe Smith, Brenda Frese, among others, there's some headliners here.

What, what does that, uh... what does this honor mean for you, man?

Man, you know, I'm just, uh...

Maryland's always really good.

Brenda Frese I think is probably the most underrated-

Absolutely

... big-time coach-

She's, she's such a good coach.

This is a, this is a tough opener.

Yeah, this, it's a really tough opener, and you talk about Brenda Frese being underrated.

Like, when people talk about national championship-winning coaches, I very rarely see her mentioned in the same breath, and it's like, she's done it before.
