Breaker Morant

Now, there is a film, an Australian film, not quite as well known as the ones I might normally name.

It's called Breaker Morant.

And it's about the Boer War.

And it is a beautifully conceived, beautifully shot, deeply moving film.

I actually would.

Breaker Morant style.

And all of a sudden, you know, Kez has given him catches.

That's what it looked like.

I think back to a few years ago, there was a movie that...

Breaker Morant, and it was based on a book, Two Lives for the Queen.

That's a true story.

Yeah, it is.

... where the, one of the, uh, guys who was sentenced to death was knocked out and he had to be revived and kept alive in order to be executed.

Reminds me of Breaker Morant where they're facing a death sentence and, uh, the Boers attack the prison and they're the only people who can...

They're, they're such good soldiers.

The plot.

Bellus Interruptus.

And I will say, I remember that time because Road Warrior and Breaker Morant and Gallipoli and Quigley Down Under, all these movies were coming.

Yeah,

the Australian Explosion.
