Braydon Coburn

Joined by a special Tampa Bay Lightning guest.

Here are your hosts, Greg Wolf and Braydon Coburn.

How's everybody doing tonight? Everybody feeling good? You guys look amazing.

This is like

Another one who, I wanna ha- I wanna set it up before I ask the question, but another one who definitely qualifies in that, like, a legitimately good player for a while.

Braydon Coburn wore the number five from 2007 through 2015, when he's traded for a absolute haul at the, uh, the 2015 deadline.

Fantastic trade, Ron Hextall.

Braydon Coburn, okay? This is a guy who maybe got a little bit of time on the top pair in the beginning of his career when he was on that top pair with Kimmo Timonen, and then got a little bit more time at the end of his Flyers career on the top pair when they just didn't have anybody else because Kimmo Timonen had blood clots and the rest of the defense was gutted because Pronger was long gone, Carle was gone.

Yeah.

It was just like, "Well, I guess Braydon Coburn's our number one.

Sure."
