Braunston

The boat was a prototype and we had glorious sunshine for the trip on the River Thames, so it will be interesting to see how the eventual production boats are developed from this concept.

And starting the month off was part two, with part one having been in the prior month, of a trip I made to Braunston in the middle of August, counting boat traffic as I went to illustrate how busy the canals get in peak season, and there certainly were a lot of them.

Now, what's on my radar for what's coming up, and I have already been back to Twiggy since gel coating the transom in order to, believe it or not, drill a hole in the nice new transom.

There's, there's woodland, there's field, and actually, as a stretch, it's, I think it's three miles, isn't it? Mm-hmm.

So it's three miles before you get to, um, that bit just before you get to Braunston.
