The coming of age happens when they hit the city.

You never read like a, a bildungsroman where someone's like, "I was l- in this cultural mecca, and I really found myself when I moved to Brattleboro." You know, like-

I would never move to Brattleboro now.

But yes, correct.

When did you guys start playing music? Uh, where did you start playing music? As you said, you're from Burlington.

Are you from, uh, Brattleboro, Vermont? Uh, have you been in Vermont the whole time?

Yeah.

Uh, we started, Zach and I started playing music together in high school.

Um, But yeah, we used

to

play in like Western Mass a lot going up in Brattleboro.

But we're going to begin with regular caller bars.

Nick from Brattleboro is actually up first.

Nick, you're in the leadoff position.

Not clean up.

He says, I guess that's what you had in the Midwest.

Up in New England, there was this Chinese buffet in Brattleboro, Vermont, just as you crossed over from Keene into Brattleboro.

And you would go left off the traffic circle, off the roundabout.

And there'd be this Chinese buffet that was set in the back of the strip mall.

A Brattleboro venue is suing StubHub for $5 million.

Speaking of StubHub, man.

August 17th,

Stone Church in Brattleboro, Vermont filed in the Southern District of New York under the Lanham Act, alleging trademark infringement and false advertising seeking damages over $5 million.

$5 million.

17-year-old Deanna Buxton hitchhiked frequently.

On November 12th, she departed in the middle of the morning with the intention of visiting her boyfriend, Jerry Twitchell, at a prison in Rutland, which was 50 miles from where she lived in Brattleboro.

She would take three rides to get there.

First, a man in a green van took her north on Route 5 to Putney.

So Frogmeadow is a bed and breakfast for men in southern Vermont.

It's just outside Brattleboro in a town called New Fane.

And almost 20 years ago, the founders of Frogmeadow, Scott and Dave, who initially the property was their house, they opened it up as this bed and breakfast.

And because I had a YouTube channel, they invited me out there kind of as an exchange.

So we are practically celebrating 30 years of this festival.

Um, the origins of the festival were it, the very first festival was a collaboration between the Brattleboro Museum and Sandglass Theater-
