Brandon Powell

It was just Tyree Cleveland had outrun his guy.

Brandon Powell came afterwards.

He fell in the end zone, caught it.

Brandon Powell climbs on top of him and is just like hitting him that they all crowd around.

I mean, that had to be the most insane moment I've ever been in at a football game because that was St. Buzzer beating.

you know, the game, the game is now over.

... which is well above average, and it comes on the heels of several years where the Vikings just didn't really have a great solution at punt return.

Brandon Powell was like, "Just don't drop the ball if possible, sir."

Body weight.

Yeah, just...

So going forward, um, this is what I'm gonna say about Xavier Smith.

They've had Jojo Natson, they've had Brandon Powell, um, and the best one they had was Pharaoh Cooper, who was an All-Pro.

They pushed him out halfway through the, the year after he was an All-Pro returner.

Now, did he look the same? No, and his spirit might have been broken in the playoff game against the Falcons, but Pharaoh Cooper was the best returner in football.

We have the best wide receiver in the league.

I just – I felt better like having what's his name, Brandon Powell back there.

I just don't know that in a real game, whether or not Miles Price or Ty Felton could step in.

I know there's going to be a drop off their wide receiver four and five for a reason.

But I just felt like Brandon Powell could still do stuff.

And I don't know that these two can.

That was my reasoning.
