No, I was the only guy, Guff.

Brandon McCarthy and I, whether he was pitching, obviously it's a little different.

But as far as position players, I was the only rookie.

I was the only young guy on the team.

my favorite non-trade was like a couple years before that when the White Sox acquired Nomar Garcia Parra and then it never happened.

They traded Maglio Ordonez and I think like Brandon McCarthy and they were getting Nomar and A-Rod was going to Boston.

And, like, it got held up or whatever and, like, didn't happen.

But, like, the Nomar Garciaparra White Sox tenure that never happened is fascinating to me.

You had the Don Mattingly years, and then you had Ned Coletti, who pretty much set up this team for success, but just wasn't the guy that they needed.

long term and then andrew friedman came along coming from the tampa bay raisin that's when things really started to change because i remember those transition years for friedman especially 2015 you know he the typical tampa bay architect he went and got some players that he was familiar that he could buy low on like scott casimir brandon mccarthy those deals didn't really work out for the dodgers and then once they started realizing how much money they could make they trade for mookie betts they signed shohei otani they pretty much have been able to do whatever they want in terms of financial success and bringing in players and continuing to go on their promise, not only to their fans that they made when the ownership took over, but when Mookie Betts and Shoya Otani came over, that they wanted to win each and every single season.

And we've kind of seen like it's split in half.

We've seen the Dodgers where they really never took making the playoffs for granted, where then coming into from 2020 to now...

the fans in the club, because we saw it kind of escalate again in the last game.

Okay, with the Where's Pablo banner, obviously taking aim at Pablo Pritchard, the club's principal owner, as well as the reappearance of the Bobby Dooley banner and the Brandon McCarthy banner as well.

I'm asking for both of those to go.

This is something that's going to take time to repair this relationship, and it takes real steps, I think, from the club to do so.
