Brandon Butterworth

Mike Irish hit a opposite field home run Saturday night.

Brandon Butterworth had a walk-off single for Peoria, the Oriole players are on Peoria.

And I was so excited when Braxton Bragg pitched three scoreless Sunday night.

Yeah.

here.

I'm also going to go with a guy at Norfolk, but I got a different player here, and that's Brandon Butterworth.

15 home runs between AA and AAA this year, despite a fairly long IL stint at Chesapeake.

And he had a really good year across the board.

I think for Judd Fabian, we saw some good and some bad this year, but right now I think we have a pretty clear sense of who he is as a player.

Brandon Butterworth, It was initially a little bit of a struggle, but as we touched on in our episode earlier this week covering the Arizona fall week, he definitely looked better over the last few weeks of the tides.

And then it was only a week, but it was a lot of fun to see Ethan Anderson and Aaron Estrada up there.

And also, are we ready to declare 2027 the year of the Tavian-Josenberger comeback?

So I would like to see him be converted into that bullpen role next year in AAA if he's still in the organization.

But no doubt that was a rough AAA experience there.

And yeah, I'll shout out Brandon Butterworth too real quick.

Just... you guys talked about it a little bit already, but I feel like as far as hitters go and in who took the biggest steps in terms of what my evaluation of them was at the start of the year to now, I think Butterworth took one of the biggest leaps in the entire system.

And to break that group down, Ike Iris, who as we just mentioned a moment ago, had his very good 2026 season cut short by an injury.

We'll be heading out to Arizona alongside Brandon Butterworth, who got a little bit of time in AAA Norfolk before this season ended, but also had an IL stint.

Earlier in the year in Chesapeake, Vance Honeycutt, who was probably about as hot as any hitter in the Orioles' farm system, by the end of the season at Chesapeake, he's going to get a chance to build on that out in Arizona.

And then you have Braxton Bragg, who has not pitched in about a year and a half now because of Tommy John's surgery.

He's going to go make up some at-bats so we get to watch him play.

He's probably going to light that league up.

Brandon Butterworth, I think it speaks a lot to me what the Orioles think of Butterworth, that he's getting sent here after, I mean, he missed some time, but ending the year at AAA, I think this means they think he's pretty close to major league ready and could potentially make a debut at some point in 2027.

Vance, just the storylines will write themselves no matter how well or poorly he does there.

And there's a few different angles we could take here.

Brandon Butterworth had a really good season, but I want to kind of table the conversation about him until we get to Norfolk in a couple of weeks because he did get promoted up to AAA, but needless to say.

Had a very good run at AA before he got there.

We touched on Aaron Estrada and Ethan Anderson's production at the beginning of our last episode.

I think the O's just really want to get him back on a mound in game situations now that he's healthy.

Next guy is 24-year-old right-handed hitting infielder Brandon Butterworth.

Came over from the Padres in the O'Hearn-Loreano trade last year.

Fangraph's 31st-ranked Orioles prospect.

Fun to get to see them at AAA, get the data, even if it's only six games, probably even less because I'm sure they won't play every single game.

But AAA is definitely more watchable now with Brandon Butterworth up there, Peyton Neal's healthy.

enrique bradfield doing his thing so it'll be a fun week fine fun final week of the triple a season coming up

certainly gonna be interested to see how those guys do even though it is going to be really limited data um really limited sample size of their data so it's good to see them get their feet wet before 2027 um move over now to frederick witt's had a fantastic season, unfortunately came to an end with their loss in the playoffs against Greensboro on Saturday night.
