very very bad um anyway let's move on let's see here let me i skipped ahead so let's do this okay so then we have the girl in the river this is a seasoned criminologist and a young female psychologist are lured to a remote american town to investigate the murder of a little girl The disappearance of her twin sister as they crawl inside the killer's mind in a race against time.

This is director Brando Benetton.

Stars Devin Sawa, Ralph Macchio, Maggie Grace, and Tiffany Haddish in a dramatic performance, which is interesting.

I actually got to interview Brando and Devin over on Homeworkist Podcast.

And starring as well as Mr. Cole, warlock teacher and elite magic professor, is Canadian actor Devin Sauer, who is our guest on the show, also sharing a similarly disturbing reaction to the troubling confrontation currently playing out between his country and Trump.

And Sawa likewise stars in the sinister crime thriller Girl in the River, opening this week as jaded, cynical, despondent investigator Kramer, disturbed by the vigilante tendencies of his female partner Pembroke, and we debate the issues as to could this be an outsider-looking in cultural observation by the Italian filmmaker Brando Benetton on U.S. authorities' above-the-law police surveillance state.
