Brain Stew / Jaded

Hey, can I give you, so I went to the St. Louis game live, okay? And you're up in the box, so I'm just going to tell you some things.

Apparently, Marcus Foligno has picked Green Day Brain Stew, is the song the team comes out to, electric.

You know, it's... done it done it done it and as wally walks down that tunnel you are here in the bono so kudos to marcus he's an older guy and he just digs deep into the green day coming on the ice i think they're gonna stick with that there's also cheetos popcorn at the rink now so if you're at ella langley maybe get some Cheetos popcorn.

So I thought that was a nice touch.

This was a band reminding everybody that it still had teeth.

And then we have to talk about my favorite, Brain Stew.

Brain Stew is built around an incredibly simple guitar riff.

The song moves slowly, almost mechanically, creating the feeling of exhaustion and sleeplessness.

You can practically hear the frustration building.

That's fair.

So, like Good Riddance by Green Day was the B side to Brain Stew.

Hello, Good Riddance.

I had no idea.

I'll skip the other ones.

Um, Green Day.

Do you prefer Brain Stew or Good Riddance?

Good Riddance.

Um-

Crazy by Aerosmith, Brain Stew by Green Day.

Oh, Oasis.

Hook.

I think they had another album before that, or maybe it was after that.

They had songs that are called Brain Stew and Jar, maybe.

When songs don't have the title at the end of the chorus, I'm less good at remembering it.

I remember the first time I tried to look up I Walk Alone by Green Day.

Okay, here's what we got.

All these were decently high on the US charts, and most of them had certifications like platinum, gold, something like that.

except for Brain Stew and Minority, and I threw those in just so I had something from Insomniac and something from Morning.

So these are the songs, and I actually have, like, the CD version of all of these.

What?

Max Brain Stew Williams.

Remember Brain Stew, that Green Day song? What an odd name for a song.

Didn't even mention Stew once.

You know, you're Noel Brown, I'm Ben Bullitt, and Noel, you and I have been having some adventures recently.
