Bradford City stadium fire

Good morning, Shannon.

I remember being told by those who would know that the Bradford Stadium fire in England was the major reason North left Arden Street.

So this concurs with this report.

Yeah, and this is what John told me is that You know, we can look at it one way as this is the league bullying clubs into getting what we want, or as he said, we couldn't ensure these grounds.

Obviously, I, I know you're gonna mention it.

Obviously, it was marred by the, the, the, the Bradford fire, which I'm sure the older people in the room are, are gonna be completely aware of.

Um, so yeah, the, the, the football side of that first year couldn't have gone any better.

It was like a, a dream come true playing with people like Stuart McCall and John Hendrie and Peter Jackson, and Bobby Campbell was my mentor as a strike partner.
