What's your advice to juniors out there trying to be like Tommy Paul?

So just to give you a little more background from my standpoint, James, you're 100 percent right.

I've worked in junior development.

I ran a small academy for a little while in California where I live, Fresno, California.

We put quite a few kids.

It was we had an elite training group and then we had a local group that was all kids, you know, kind of more intermediate level, maybe some of them playing sectionally and stuff like that.

And then we had an elite training group, which we never had more than like 16 kids in.

It's a very general question, but why are those your two non-negotiables for a junior or a professional like Tommy Paul?

if you go back and, and watch that match, the, the quality of tennis was, was pretty amazing.

And, um, yeah, losing that was, was brutal.

And to be honest with you, I wish I, I could make myself look a lot smarter than I am.

But, uh, going to Houston, you know, it's funny because, uh, about midway through the tournament, maybe a little bit further, we actually talked about it how getting messages.

Tommy said he was getting messages about, like...

But it is a little different feel right this year without Sinner and Alcaraz clicking on all cylinders.

Do you all focus on the analytics week in and week out as well to improve?

Yeah, I mean, uh, uh, the first part of that question, Nick, is that, um, that was a big part of our, of our Tommy 6.0. You know, we pushed Tommy to become a little bit more of a shot maker, a little bit more aggressive with his, with his just basic ground strokes and, and hitting style so that he's trying to take a little bit more time away from that.

And to be honest, that was a, that was a result of him, you know, having lost to those two guys in some big matches, big opportunities.

You know, quarterfinals at Wimbledon against, uh, Carlos, round of 16 against Jannik.

We felt like Tommy's attacking style, uh, lends itself to having an opportunity to beat those guys, but that he needed to be a little bit bigger and more aggressive in the key moments of the matches.

And, and as much as Tommy plays aggressive tennis, I don't think people, unless you're around him, you don't realize that Tommy is a bit of a risk-averse person as a tennis player.

He's not as a human being.

How have you been able to keep a long-term relationship, and what is the keys to that, you know, 'cause we are totally in a success-driven business?
