Brad Friedman

It was a fa- a, absolutely fascinating, um, video clip.

It ran about 40 minutes and, uh, it was a kid named, uh, the, a l- uh, Friedman, something, something, F- Brad Friedman, I forget his last, his first name.

Something Friedman.

And there is now in, in Manhattan on the Upper East Side, I think around in the mid-'90s and off Third Avenue, a massive mosque, and a huge, I think it's a 130-foot, uh, tower that blasts the call to prayer.

You know, [laughs] I'm sure the people love hear, hearing that who are not Muslim.

A lot of them taxis.

And right across the street was the, uh, uh, New York City Parking Enforcement on the other side of the street, and they're furiously slapping tickets on, on other cars.

And so this Friedman guy goes to the cop, "Hey, what are you doing? Why are you ticketing this car?" He says, "Well, you know, you can't, you can't, you can't park here, double park here," whatever.

I couldn't possibly say.

But I have a feeling that I might be discussing that very novel with my friends Brad Friedman, Tina Hodgkinson, Victoria Dowd, and Dr. Jamie Berntal-Hooker.

Really, really excited to bring you that episode in two weeks' time.

And I figured that this was the perfect opportunity to re-air this.

And Monday is Labor Day.

And I'm actually thinking about taking at least part of next week off, because Brad Friedman talked me into it.

Anyway, I heard the news that Gloria Steinem died, and she was, honestly, I think one of, if not the most important woman in certainly the last century when it comes to women's rights in this country, when it comes to moving progress along.

And so I saw the news.

And who

was Nicole interviewing yesterday but Brad Friedman?

It's a small world.

It really is.

I understand.

But I've got to tell you that Brad Friedman and Desi Doyen are at an undisclosed location.

See, here's the thing.

I can never get Brad on.

I'm just saying that's what I heard.

I, you know, I can't confirm it, but that's what I heard.

But that's the problem because that's, you know, he is, is demanding Brad Friedman that our battleships, our aircraft carriers all be.

put back into the naval yards and reconfigured so that they're back to, you know, take away all the state-of-the-art equipment, go back to steam because somebody told him, someone, steam was better.
