don't see a lot of people really exploring like OO as a new frontier anymore in the way that like you might have said that small talk was a lineage you don't see a lot of people like picking up that torch in a major production way currently like no one's like well we've just got to like do small talk plus for our next thing right uh which i guess you know objective c or something would be the closest thing that we had to something like that i guess i don't know

Yeah, Objective-C, I saw an interview with Brad Cox.

That was really interesting too.

It was basically like, I mean, you touched on this in your talk about like modularity being a really important and valuable concept, but like, and OO has its version of that, but there's like other ways to do that.

And so Brad Cox talks about how he was at, I want to say Bell Labs, that's wrong.

It was somewhere else.

You can always say Bell Labs and you have like an 80% chance of being right.
