And so there are several of us who have gone on to be successful in apparel, in part because I think brands really do matter in apparel.

I like things that have been around for a long time, that have survived through depressions, through recessions, through wars, et cetera, and stayed in business, and buying them when they're dramatically out of favor because that happens every cycle or so.
