And then my colleague, I wanna say, was it during the pandemic or maybe right after? She was like, "I want a puppy.

I want a Boykin Spaniel." She got this puppy, and she called me up, and she's like, "So can you help me, like, train this puppy? 'Cause he is crazy."

Aw.

He's a stud.

I mean, he breeds Cockers, Boykins, Boykindoors, Labs.

His dogs are great.

But I called him, I was like, hey, like, what's the deal with this dog? I've seen, I saw her on Gun Dog Central.

I do have a bird dog.

I got a Boykin Spaniel from the great state of South Carolina, our Boykins.

Exactly.

I mean, she has that drive.

I mean, she has that drive.

With a little bit of time and a little bit of effort, I can make that hound do anything I want him to do, no different than a show dog, no different than anything else.

I have four hounds that are retired in my house, and they're the best house dogs I've ever had.

And I've had everything from the Boykins to Australian Shepherds to Pit Bulls, and those hounds are the best house dogs I've ever had.

It's a misconception that all of us just want to break the rules and do as we please.
