Boxford

Some good and some, you know, not so good.

introductions are basically, they're for the purpose of telling the people, why should you listen to what I have to tell you? I remember meeting Oz Guinness several years ago in Boxford, Massachusetts, and he told me, and he went through a season where he sat under Martin Lloyd-Jones' preaching, And he said that Martin Lloyd-Jones, he would study for hours all week for his sermons, but whenever he went into the pulpit, he would only bring with him a written introduction and a written conclusion.

In Lloyd-Jones' mind, he did not want a predetermined outline to only stay him there because he wanted to be open to where the Holy Spirit might lead him during the preaching.

But Martin Lloyd-Jones, if you've ever read him or if you've heard the recordings of his sermons, he knew that if he was going to grab people's attention for the sermon, he must give a compelling introduction.

No, it's not.

Where I used to live in Boxford and Topsfield, that's the burbs.

Okay.

And people are not driving... is that what you're gonna call it

I, I also, the last point, you mentioned how he's close to home, and home is Boxford, Massachusetts.

Uh, I wonder how often those people are gonna wanna see him when he's gonna be rolling up with a Habs sweater on.

Yeah.

I am all in on Chris Kreider and I want to preface this by saying I am from Boxford, Massachusetts, where Chris Kreider is from.

We had the same sixth grade teacher, um, Yeah, I mean, I think for one, from a sentimental perspective for myself personally, I would just like to see someone from my hometown play for the Bruins.

Like that is, I will acknowledge that.

That is something that, you know, pertains to me individually that you three probably do not feel.

And I understand because like, I don't believe any of you are from Boxford.

So yeah, I would get that.

But from a hockey perspective too, I do think it makes sense to add Chris Cryer to the Bruins.

He's from Boston.

He's from Boxford.

He's not coming here.

He's going to go to Montreal.

Yeah.

That'll be another example of people not wanting to come.

Here's a guy from Boxford, Massachusetts who's available and he won't come.

He'll go to Montreal instead.

I think it is just really cool to feel like you're in all of it, especially where I grew up.

Whether it is being dared to walk down the witch driveway or the town of where I grew up in Boxford, you can find the grave of the only woman who got out of her witchcraft charge.

And it's just in someone's backyard.

It's just kind of there.
