Alex is a student, she's just completing as a student midwife at Bournemouth University.

When I spoke to her yesterday, she still didn't have a job.

But more interestingly, she has been campaigning about this issue at number 10 that was the trigger and woke people up to the scale of the problem around the country.

So we are now joined by our, our next guest for, uh, this segment.

Our next guest is Dr. uh, Elvira Bolat, associate professor in digital marketing at Bournemouth University.

She teaches various marketing related subjects across postgraduate and undergraduate programs, um, with, uh, particular expertise and, and interests in digital market- m-m-marketing.

In, uh, particular, she has developed expertise and gained prominence in the media with her work related to influencers and how influencers are affected by their activities, as well as the impact they have on, on followers.

She teaches various marketing-related subjects across, uh, postgraduate and, and undergraduate programs with particular expertise and interest in digital marketing.

And that's my education was purely focused on trying to get to that role.

So I did international retail management at Bournemouth University.

I got my placement with Debenhams and basically I became a senior buyer within Debenhams.

it for years enjoyed lots of travel absolutely loved it really really long hours but I think when you work in an industry that you absolutely love you you don't see it as taking hours away from your life because you're actually enjoying every moment of it anyway as like most of us two minis came along and those long hours and the long haul travel just came really hard to manage And I know I love shopping.

could literally blow anything out of the water renamed hms invincible it became the flagship of the british navy until it ran aground on the 19th of february 1758 the wreck of the invincible provides us with an unprecedented opportunity to discover how the 18th century navy was being revolutionized And now that shifting sands are putting the wreck under threat, no expense is being spared to recover as much as possible.

A combined team from Bournemouth University, the Maritime Archaeology Trust and the National Museum of the Royal Navy is carrying out this £2 million project to salvage the remains of the wreck.

And halfway through the three-year project, the clock is ticking to retrieve what evidence is left.

It's all about trying to recover as much as we can, record it as quickly as we can, because during the winter we have high-energy storm events, and this is exposing vulnerable and fragile artefacts as well as the ship's structure.

And then, you know, that was very early days, but of course California wine had caught on and all the rest of it.

So the last thing I'm going to add here, if we've got time, is that apart from the book, which I hope is, we're making an ACE case study as well for universities with the book, with the University of Sheffield, with Sonoma State and the University of Bournemouth that should come out but get published next month.
