Head and Neck Cancer Australia dentists were at the concert and at Melbourne's Bourke Street Mall performing oral health checks to raise awareness for the lesser known types of cancer.

There's no screening for these cancers, so the more people know the signs and symptoms, they can often be really benign, you know, an ulcer in your tongue and a neck lump and But if those kind of signs and symptoms hang around for more than a few weeks, it's really important to get them checked to make sure that they're nothing sinister.

Funds from the concert will go towards supporting the charity's free national helpline and people battling cancer, an important cause for many of Farnsie's fans.

I don't think it's any of those guys.

Did you see any street busking? Were people performing music at all, like you do in Bourke Street Mall? Or did you notice any...

I've often wondered about that, like street performers and things.

I thought I'd just share this rather upsetting experience with you.

About 10 minutes ago, I was in the vault of Bourke Street Mall, and a fellow, obviously down on his luck, approached me and asked me whether I could buy him some food.

He didn't ask for money.

He just asked for food.

I think the Rundle Mall would be, what, half a kilometre in length? Knowing the Bourke Street Mall...

They call it a mall there.

And they've got a tram going through the middle of it, which sort of takes away a little bit from the whole theme of a pedestrian-only access.

It would start to look tacky.
