The fifth study this week is titled State Space Attractor Morphology as a Marker of Complexity Matching in Group Heart Rate Variability Dynamics.

It was authored by Naseha Wafakammer, Christina Poschkuvieni, Montes Landauskas, Kiran Shazadi, Minvidas Rogulskis, Alphonsus Vainouris, Nachim Planka, Micah Atkinson and Roland McCready from the Department of Mathematical Modeling at Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania, the Institute of Cardiology at Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, and the HeartMath Institute in Boulder Creek, California.

It was published in Applied Sciences.

This study ventures into territory that is philosophically as much as technically interesting, and I want to take a moment before describing it to acknowledge that the HeartMath Institute's involvement in this research is something some listeners may have opinions about.

Um, this was from the Santa Cruz Fire Department that had put that prescribed burn.

They did get what they needed, and everything stayed under control, even though it looks very wild.

It was originally sold in Watsonville.

But they have a, they spent a lot of time in Boulder Creek, California and Santa Cruz Mountains.

And it was on a used car lot there.

And they drove by it, saw it had air conditioning and swooped it up.

But we met people along the way through books and things like that, that had a consciousness university in California where we are today.

A small mountain town outside of, uh, Santa Cruz called Boulder Creek.

And we became friends with them, and we maintained a friendship for probably eight, 10 years.

And over that time the friendship grew, and it reached a point where we realized that we should probably do something together.
