I believe Annie was the lone person from North Dakota to actually be in the towers that day.

She was a bond trader, and her folks... were a big member of the Bottineau community.

Her dad was a ski instructor there, a volunteer ski instructor for numerous winters.

And when she perished in 9-11, there was a big push to honor Annie and make her part of the community permanently.

And thus Annie's house was born.

And it's a really neat story.
