Boros Reckoner

Like, my equipment wasn't that good.

Um, I had, like, a Boros Reckoner, which is a very strong card, but my mana had, like, eight green lands, uh, eight forests, because I needed to support my three mana dorks in Avacyn's Pilgrim, Birds of Paradise, Noble Hierarch.

That made the Boros Reckoner kind of awkward in some games.

So this deck had some problems with it.

Um, some over-performers, Managorger Hydra.

Not the most powerful card on its own, but, like, having access to both Grafted War Gear and Behemoth Sledge, being able to buff this up into, like, a real threat came up a bunch for me and was, like, pretty sweet.

So that one also surprised me a lot.

[clicks tongue] Like I said, for under-performers, Stoneforge Mystic, just, like, not that good in my deck, and also, uh, Boros Reckoner was really awkward as well.
