um that that was sort of the question for tennessee this year not necessarily offense more of the defense but just for me you're bringing in a new quarterback a freshman five star is supposed to be super super talented and he looked too good and he took care of the ball and you don't make dumb mistakes it's all you can really ask for a freshman quarterback so i'm higher on tennessee than i was two weeks ago

okay yeah they're uh running back to sean bishop 147 yards two touchdowns they also had 14 penalties in this game okay well nobody's perfect i wrote that in my notes that nobody's perfect i mean yeah i i just don't know i just don't know about georgia tech's offense it's it might be a long season for them it's a tough one it might be bad um anyways should we move to like backwards in time to the border war because that was the other spicy meatball of the weekend

He did like kind of be like I was watching the border war and I was with college football friends and when college football friends got college football on sometimes you're like oh shit and Chris Stapleton was like He didn't yell at us for talking, but he was like, what are you guys talking about? Missouri coming off the Border War win.

Eli Drinkwitz not too pleased with the social media video that Kansas put out, and they go out and they win 38 to 21.

How about this spot? As mentioned before we went to break, I know you wanted to talk a little bit more about this one.

We've got Missouri, Missouri a 27-point favorite against the Troy Trojans.

They won on Friday night as five-and-a-half point favorites in the border war.

Might've went down to four and a half.

And so, uh, an influx of youth, and Kenneth Walker III has Kansas City back in their winning ways.

Uh, another big game in the past week or so was the, uh, the border war between Kansas and Missouri, and that was a close game in the first half, tied at halftime.

But then Mizzou took care of business in the second half, and they end up winning 38-21.

And to me, the, the, the big story out of that game is Austin Simmons, the quarterback for Mizzou.

But they just have to be consistent now and, and respect their opponents, prepare for this team like it's, they prepared for Kansas, and then th- they won't have a problem.

But Troy's got a good defense, and then they, uh, they play well enough on offense to give you trouble, and they've, they've always got players.

All right, let's talk about, uh, the other team in the Border War.

Uh, Kansas, they lose, and Isaiah Marshall was, uh, very inconsistent.

I mean, have you ever seen any kind of rivalry that tops this? I mean, we're sitting right here.

We got all these students right here.

And obviously, I want to talk a little bit basketball with you.

It's Border War Week.

Mizzou comes into town.

So, uh, you know, the, throw out the record books when they play because they're, like, literally, like, just, you know, they're... it's literally couple miles apart.

Yeah, I need them to do the, uh, hype video the way that the Border War with Kansas and Missouri did.

And Kansas, yes.

And Kansas reminded everybody why that they hate each other and used their, um, Border War hype video as an opportunity to remind everybody about the history lesson involved here, um, to include having John Brown in the video itself and painting Mizzou as, if you're a Mizzou fan, you're pro-slavery.
