Border Morris

Thank you for putting up with my [laughs] BS.

[laughs]Do you remember back in May when I did the belting special? I talked about Morris dancing, and then I did loads of research on Morris dancing.

Turns out there's loads around me, and I think I mentioned that.

There's one particular one I really like the look of in Otley, which is not very far away at all, and coincidentally, where our Spindle Shanks McScrew has a dwelling.

And, uh, it's called the Wharfedale Waze Goose, or Waze Geese, Waze Geeses, Waze Gooses.

[laughs] And it is a border Morris, and they wear black and red and bang sticks together going, "Rah." I've done two sessions with them, and I absolutely, absolutely love it.

Love it, and it's really brightened me up.

On a Tuesday evening after I've done my volunteering with the little rainbows and brownies, I drop the kids off and I shoot straight there, and I honestly have an absolute ball.
