There are 17 Grand Cru villages in Champagne.

And then, so if you're 90 to 99, score of 90 to 99, then you're Premier Cru.

And then 80 to 89 is gonna be just village.

And with that, traditionally that would dictate how much of a price you could command for your fruit.

The producer who understands this distinction is going to be a lot easier to sell.

And is that true for everyone? And again, I'm not going to quote names, but I find that sometimes in the fine wine world, people overestimate how well-known they are and how well-known their Cru Classé or, you know, referencing Bordeaux, but that can be a top estate in Burgundy.

And they are certainly very, very well-known for some people and some restaurants that wouldn't need the explanation.
