Great guy, ball of energy, and man, he's doing such cool shit from Boots and Hearts to Rock the Park to you name it.

Been working for Molson for a long time.

We kind of get into... conversation around an intrapreneur.

So there's an ideation kind of like, you know, system, you follow a process.

But I mean, I think the last one I saw, it's like some saloon with like a mechanical bowl or something.

I'm like, that is fucking cool, man, at Boots and Hearts.

So can you take us in the audience through kind of like how that works?

No, but what, the thing called?

Uh, har- Boots & Hearts?

Yeah.

Yeah, he's at Boots, he's at Boots & Salutes.

I know.

[laughs] It's not even country.

So, like, why are they playing it at fucking Boots & Hearts?

I don't know.

What is that?

We're here this week at Boots and Hearts Music Festival up in Oro Medante, just north of Toronto, where we got a chance to chat with a bunch of our friends.

Unfortunately, we actually had quite a bit of rain.

What would Boots and Hearts be without rain? So we didn't get to hang out with our pals at Schoolhouse.

We didn't get to see our new friend, Waylon Wyatt.

But we did hang out with Mitch Zorn, and his show was awesome.

Now, I think this is your first Boots ever, both attending and obviously performing here, correct?

Yeah, I don't make it out east very much.

I think this is the most out east I've ever been in the last year, like touring around here.

It's been such an experience.

We got rained out a little bit yesterday, but we're cooking.

It wouldn't be Boots without it.

That's what everyone keeps saying.
