Book of Jasher

Ancient texts, we'll call these Jewish texts, Jewish books of history.

We're not going to put them on the same level as the Word of God, the canon of Scripture, okay? However, there's one book called the Book of Jasher, that by the way is mentioned in this Bible, and another book called the Book of Enoch.

Both of these books detail how the pre-flood generation corrupted the natural order, listen to me, pursued unnatural transgressions and established systematic lawlessness.

Why is that significant? Because today we're witnessing an unprecedented global shift towards institutionalized rebellion against God's order.

They will be commanded to worship this image just like it was in the days of Nebuchadnezzar.

And you've heard me talk about this on other programs.

In these historical books, the book of Jasher, it recounts how the builders of the Tower of Babel, or Babel, Genesis 11 says, Listen to this.

They sought to create a unified global apparatus in order to revolt against heaven, driven by the pride of human innovation.

This is why I wanted to talk with you, because I've, I was looking at the Naamah thing and I, I was starting to see a lot of tradition that says that she was the wife of- It depends on what you read, but sometimes Naamah is the wife of, of Noah.

And, uh, Jasher talks about that.

Mm-hmm.

And then some of the other traditions I'm looking at says that she was, Naamah was the wife of Ham.

I like it, but I don't know how...

I think as far as biblical history books go, I think you can, I think you're relatively sitting safe with Jubilee and, and Enoch.

Uh, Jasher, I'm a little 50/50 on.

But yeah, anyway, Jubilee 8 I think is the passage you're talking about.

It, and to, to some people that don't believe in the flat Earth, so to some people that don't believe in giants, and to some people that can't open their mind and, you know, up to these, uh, fascinations that you read in the Book of Enoch, I think that, uh, it's hard for them to, to believe it or to make it inspired word or inspired scriptures.

But as we know, you know, the, the disciples read the Book of Enoch as that's why it's being quoted by Jude and, and, um, also, like in the Book of Joshua, it ta- it talks about isn't this written in the Book of Jasher, right, where it talks about-

Yeah, and I'm, and I'm personally not telling you whether it's, it's God-inspired or if it's scripture.

I'm not personally saying that.

All I'm saying is that the disciples read it, you could tell, and also, like, the Book of Jasher and a few, you know, things that are mentioned.

So God is saying to read and, you know, the disciples read it, and like you said, Tertullian and all these people, you know, we just need to read it, and, um, you know, and it's gonna help you, you know, with your walk, you know? And, and I think this is a great, great, um, presentation.
