So could you just tell us a little bit about those early years and what got you interested in aviation?

Sure.

Well, I was, as a young kid, my mother was an elementary school teacher and she couldn't afford babysitters.

So she would bring us to the local airport while she graded papers and us little kids would watch airplanes take off and land.

And I thought, wow, that looks so exciting.

And it was at a local, a general aviation airport, small airplanes.

And I said, someday I want to fly one of those.
