So what it was like, it was hell on earth.

And I compulsively ate until I was, I don't know, like 230, 240 pounds.

The scale only went up so high, and I don't know really how high I could.

And I keep meaning to... you know, put some pictures so that I can share them, but I always forget.

But anyway, and so that's what it was like.

And I came from a alcoholic and a generations on both sides and also compulsive eaters and bulimics and laxative bulimics and just all kinds of mess on both sides of my growing up.

And now our speaker.

My name is Bonnie Jo.

I'm a compulsive overeater and with anorexic behaviors.

And my first abstinence was 29 years ago.

And it was one... edible item and five behaviors.

And since that time, I have maintained that first abstinence.

And of course, over time, it has grown incrementally in terms of all of my emotional maturity and a spiritual life, which I didn't know that I needed and I thought I was quite emotionally mature, thank you very much.
