Boneshakers

And in the meantime, here's the first of a couple of sets of the new releases that have been shaking my shimmy this week.

With songs from the latest albums by Jennifer McNess, Jason Ritchie and Bad Kind, Harold Davenport, and this from the Bone Shakers' new one, Pull Up The Roots.

It's good while it's good, but your luck won't last.

This is Blues With A Feeling.

Before that, ya-ya, and I'm gonna miss you like the devil.

Still to come, more from Lazy and this wonderful band, and then more of the new releases that have been locking my core this week, including the Bone Shakers, the new single from a young man known as Brother Deesh, Laura Chavez, and the one and only Bernard Allison.

This is Blues With A Feeling.

Thank you for watching.

Pull up the roots

pull up the roots or pull up the roots you better come on in my kitchen

That's the Bone Shakers with the title track of their mini album, Pull Up The Roots.

Before that, live on tour with Roof Records Blues Caravan 26, Laura Chavez as Mind Your Step.

And of course, as I like to do, to bring added perspective to the record, I sat down with Alex Schultz to discuss Think About It and much, much more.

And what would an episode of Blues With a Feeling be without at least one set of the new releases that have been peaking my levels this week, including new music from Geneva McNess; a young man that's kind of turned the blues world a little on its ear, Harold Davenport; there's the wonderful singer and bass player Danielle McCall; and to kick this week's show off with exactly the right attitude, here's The Bone Shakers with a track from the band's brand new release, Pull Up the Roots.

This is Blues With a Feeling.

You know what to do.
