LorenzoHOST
0:21
Wow.
LorenzoHOST
0:27
I'm back, uh, back after a couple of weeks, um, break.
LorenzoHOST
0:32
Um, Steph obviously did an amazing job covering all, all the instant reactions and pub chats.
LorenzoHOST
0:38
If you guys are tuning in as well as all the other amazing stuff that the guys have been doing.
LorenzoHOST
0:42
Um, this is the reaction, however, to Milan Bologna this evening, uh, about 10 minutes after full time.
LorenzoHOST
0:51
And, uh, Yeah, not the sort of result I was hoping to come back to when we've got the derby on Saturday.
Steve WyssHOST
22:56
They've lost 4-0 to Monza.
Steve WyssHOST
22:58
They lost at home to Bologna 2-0.
Steve WyssHOST
23:00
They seem to be starting to cave in.
Steve WyssHOST
23:02
I kind of worry for Cagliari a bit here, Nathan, in a midweek round away at Roma.
Nathan JoyesGUEST
23:47
It was only a matter of time before that didn't work.
Nathan JoyesGUEST
23:50
And it didn't work against Monza, who stuck four past them.
Nathan JoyesGUEST
23:53
If Monza can stick four past them and then Bologna can rock up, away from home and also win two nil i think it's very encouraging that we can back roma with a lot of confidence here and i really like them on the minus 1.5 line here i think they'll be maybe disappointed if they um aren't able to really flex their muscles in this particular match yeah the napoli game was was crazy at the weekend but again the way in which they came back the way in which they were really effective from corners as well just scoring for fun i mean they've just been so strong at home we can put a line through that Real Madrid game because I don't think the visitors here are capable of doing what they did and if anyone's going to come back and um you can count on one hand the amount of teams who will do that this season and unfortunately Roma paid the price but look Roma going forward have just been excellent and I think they can just pin back the visitors here, and it'll be a matter of time.
Nathan JoyesGUEST
24:45
If they get that first goal, I think the game completely opens up.
Martino PuccioHOST
4:15
Comes in.
Martino PuccioHOST
4:16
Might have earned himself a start tomorrow against Bologna with this.
Martino PuccioHOST
4:20
So I was happy with that.
Martino PuccioHOST
4:23
I just want to speak on the youngsters real quick if you want it to towards the end of it because it's a little bit of a hot topic.

12 MINS LATER

Martino PuccioHOST
16:40
Huge addition in terms of the long-term effectiveness of that midfield, which is a little bit up in the air, as we mentioned, because of Modric and some of these other players.
Martino PuccioHOST
16:48
But yeah, I just think it would be immense, so it would be a huge job by Milan.
Martino PuccioHOST
16:52
So let's move on to the preview versus Bologna because we don't have much time.
Martino PuccioHOST
16:56
Yeah.
JakeHOST
102:36
Sun was still out.
JakeHOST
102:38
Cagliari 0 Bologna 2 is the next game we're going to cover.
JakeHOST
102:41
Cagliari were coming off a 4-0 defeat to Monza on matchday 7.
JakeHOST
102:45
They had Felici out injured.
JakeHOST
102:47
Bologna had lost to Inter a week earlier after taking the lead obviously and were looking for a second straight away win after beating Lecce on matchday 6.
JakeHOST
102:56
Orsolini, Piccoli and Holm were injured.
JakeHOST
102:59
4-3-2-1 formation for Pisacane's men with Caprile in goal on the backline of Obert, Rodriguez, Deola and Zepedro.
JakeHOST
103:22
Bernardeschi and Cambiaghi on the wings with Odegaard starting up front.
GianniHOST
4:34
And it's nice to have, you know, Supra and the roses step up during this time.
GianniHOST
4:38
If you want to watch good, complete, you know, soccer in Montreal that's exciting that's that like knows how to draw you in and it actually has a group uh that cares about the results and cares about the team and you know that they want to buy in and I'm not trying to talk shit about the players at CF Montreal I'm talking about the organization and we talked about it many times before where it just feels like Saputo's got one foot in Montreal one foot in Bologna he's not really dedicating himself he's he's spreading himself too thin.
GianniHOST
5:03
Like, I know the guy's a billionaire, but like, come on, man.
GianniHOST
5:06
Like either focus on one or the other.

55 MINS LATER

AdrianoHOST
60:10
But again, regardless of the numbers, like for me, it was impressive to see him step up and, and play and get the minutes, even though he hasn't really played all that much this season, you know, it was, it was, it was good to see.
AdrianoHOST
60:23
And yeah, yeah just happy for the result again like we've been saying you know up until now Two quick tests for a lot of our teams.
AdrianoHOST
60:37
Wednesday for Milan against, I believe, Bologna.
AdrianoHOST
60:40
And then, again, the big, big one, the big doozy on Saturday, the derby against Inter.
Martino PuccioHOST
4:44
That's just going to be very tough.
Martino PuccioHOST
4:46
And it's not to discredit Sunderland, Budapest, and a couple of other sides that we were going to... deal with so so yeah i just think that like picking up three points in the league it's important we see juve win this weekend obviously napoli roma draw so milan gained two points on both of those sides milan are uh provisionally well not provisionally they were the last match of the round i believe right yep so they are in top four as of right now um como one point behind them In fifth, they're four ahead of Juve, seven points ahead of Napoli, eight points ahead of Bologna, or sorry, Atalanta.
Martino PuccioHOST
5:26
And then they have Bologna coming up next.
Martino PuccioHOST
5:28
So prioritizing Serie A is huge.
Martino PuccioHOST
5:31
So I just thought that was a great goal there.

11 MINS LATER

Martino PuccioHOST
16:33
So the question was from a shy.
Martino PuccioHOST
16:35
So thank you very much for sending this in for the Milan lifetime.
Martino PuccioHOST
16:39
So will Rabion Gila Gila back for Bologna? I don't know.
Gianluca Di MarzioHOST
62:56
Barella è impressionante.
Gianluca Di MarzioHOST
62:58
E poi c'è Cagliari Bologna, sarebbe facile dire Cambiaghi, anche perché abbiamo qui il suo scopritore.
Gianluca Di MarzioHOST
63:03
Però io in Cagliari Bologna, a parte molto contento che dovrebbe tornare tra i convocati Trepi.
Gianluca Di MarzioHOST
63:10
Quest'estate ci ha, ci ha davvero fatto soffrire.
Gianluca Di MarzioHOST
63:14
E io vedo la capocciata di Theath.
FabioHOST
37:08
Yeah, you're right.
FabioHOST
37:10
We got Bologna.
FabioHOST
37:11
Bologna.
FabioHOST
37:11
Uh-oh, Costa Costa coming back on a Wednesday night next week, my friends.
FabioHOST
37:16
Costa Costa on a Wednesday night.
FabioHOST
37:18
We got Bologna in the middle of the week before we come back around to Inter, man.
FabioHOST
37:23
Now, let's do a little, we're getting close to the end here, right? What's the other results? Yeah, look, Juve tied 2-2.
FabioHOST
37:32
Listen, great.
Sean MaloneySOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
38:35
I think we showed last year that we can win away from home with the Feyenoord, even the Stuttgart game.
Sean MaloneySOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
38:42
Bologna, we were pretty good until the sending off.
Sean MaloneySOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
38:44
So we can definitely win away.
Sean MaloneySOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
38:45
I think it's getting that way.

Aiden McGeadyPANELIST
66:37
There was a lot of talk in the summer about him coming back to the Rangers, wasn't there? Would you have been happy with him now?
SamUNKNOWN
66:43
Yeah, I would have been happy with him.
SamUNKNOWN
66:44
I was in Bologna over summer and I thought, oh, he's going to come.
SamUNKNOWN
66:47
I got excited.
MattHOST
1:30
That was a brilliant goal and...
MattHOST
1:34
He showed us something a bit different to Marlon, although Gasparini seems to be creating a very explosive version of Castro to the Castro we saw with Bologna.
MattHOST
1:43
He has that elegant touch and that was genius because he was surrounded by players and just to scoop the ball over, didn't even scoop it over the keeper, just scooped it into the area where the ball had to go.
MattHOST
1:54
The only way to hit the back of the net.
MattHOST
4:36
Last 20 minutes were rocky, allowing Atalanta back into the match.
MattHOST
4:39
And if it weren't for a certain magic Mike Mannion, that could have been a different scoreline and it could have been a devastating end for Milan.
MattHOST
4:46
Bologna 1, Inter 3.
MattHOST
4:48
Palladino's men did open the scoring.
