Bola Sete

I think it's Carlos and maybe his brothers.

And the third one, which is actually my favorite, is by the Brazilian guitarist Bola Sete, who played frequently with Vince Giraldi and lived in Sausalito for a long time.

He's a Brazilian guitarist.

They're all three completely different compositions.

Bill Graham, we think of him as the big promoter, but man, he was seeding these cross elements into what really became a scene.

It's Bill Graham, for example, who brings Bola Sete, the Brazilian guitarist.

And for many people, that's the first time they're hearing Bossa Nova and has them as Bola Sete opening for rock bands.

or rock bands and for Ebola.

And one of the most important lessons he had was Bill Graham gives a very, very positive, uplifting introduction on the stage to Santana one night at the Fillmore.

One is just encountering it in the wild somewhere random.

One of the things that I spoke about in that talk is like, I think incidental discoveries matter in our world of AI predictions, you know? So yesterday, for example, I was at Rosebud Records in Portsmouth and and I picked up a record just purely based on the cover, Bola Sete.

Yeah.

And I was like, you know what? I'm going to take a punt on this.
