We have the Joe which is a staff, a stick and we have movements with that and then we have the Bokken which is a wooden sword and we have movements that we practice with that and so that's how the Aikido kind of connects to that tradition of Japanese martial arts and yeah the weapons is quite fun as well and it has that discipline aspect where you're controlling your movements and memorizing sequences of movements
