I did a Boilermaker thing and then some vodka sodas.

And then I did the Stroh and Soda, which is that high liquor, high volume, high ABV.

Yeah, we had one of those.

It's something that we like to drink.

If we're drinking a Boilermaker, then maybe we're drinking wine and tequila back to back.

Like, that's the conversations that I'm wanting to have.

That's the joy of drinking that I have.

The one guy who wanted me to, I think he wanted me to watch, he wanted to watch me bang his wife, the guy I was working radio with back in rugby.

What alcohol was that? He got me drunk on Boilermakers.

Yeah, so this week's Boilermaker is in honor of the dearly departed Dolly Parton.

And I stole this idea shamelessly from the Brick Store Pub.

They posted it as a special honoring Dolly Parton on Facebook recently.

I like some of her music.

I didn't know a lot of it.

But anyway, the dumb blonde Boilermaker is a pour of Straff Hendrick triple and an ounce of Bellmead Tennessee whiskey, which I happen to know is made in Nashville because I bought a bottle of it.

And I couldn't get my hands on the Straff Hendrick Triple, so I got a different beer.

That's a nightcap.

Yes, because the fifth Boilermaker would just be too much.

Have you guys ever had Boilermakers? Yeah.

Oh, man.

That's what they were drinking.

That's where I learned about it.

I was like, dad, what are they drinking? He's like, oh, that's a Boilermaker.

shot glass in the glass of beer and chug it? Yeah.

Not a Boilermaker.

That too.

Okay.

It was really good.

So I liked my Negroni and I did a Boilermaker PBR because their rail was Four Roses bourbon, which I like.

And so I thought, well, I'll do the Boilermaker, which is essentially the same thing as a Happy Meal.

Same thing as a shot in a beer.

Right.

Sorry, that's a depth charge.

But, yeah, people will swear on that and will fight you over that.

And, okay, no, Boilermaker is simply a shot and a beer.
