Bodega

Do you like-

After that we've got some, uh, some new Bodega.

Yeah, sick.

And a track from Ian Sweet.

[laughs] No, I didn't.

Oh, my gosh.

All right, you were just listening to Bodega, um, off their brand-new album, All Inside Aquarium.

Um, it was a song called "Literary World," which you might have guessed-

Uh, yeah.

Um, but yeah, we've got music from Pouch, Snooper, The Beefs, The Cauliflowers, Rosa Docs, Harry Lyon, and Bodega.

So we've got, um, a good mix of, uh, English, American, Australian bands this week.

Yes.

Yeah.

Well, you picked, you picked another couple that, uh ...

I mean, like I say, the, it's a good field this week, but, um, I didn't know if that was gonna be, uh, your pick of the week or the one we've got later on by Bodega, 'cause that's a good one as well.

Yeah, the- Bodega's got some great songs.

I met them in 2024.

We actually played a show, Bodega did, with C-Check in Jacksonville, Florida.

When we taped this conversation in 2025, Kenny had just released the second C-Check album called called Catcher, inspired by Catcher in the Rye, as you'll hear in the interview.

But actually, they just released their third album in August 2026, The Righteous Sword, which I believe was recorded even before Catcher came out.

There's lots of ATM action coming down the pipeline.

I've taped a lot of great episodes recently.

Also, the next Bodega album, All Inside Aquarium, is out October 9th on Chrysalis Records, so please stay tuned for that.

Until next time, see ya!

Okay, we're going to listen to Bodega now.

This track's called Weather Me.

Send me your email.

Kid Congo and the Pink Monkey Birds, I Found a Peanut.

The Alarm Clocks, No Reason to Complain.

And first up was Bodega with Weather Me.

It's 20 minutes past three, so I will continue to try and squeeze in as many songs as possible.
