So what led to you actually becoming Derek and the Dominoes and making that

record? After we did the European tour with Delaney and Bunny, everyone was already deciding to go on the road with Mad Dogs and Englishmen.

And they had all put this together.

While they were on the road, we were still in Europe, and the talk was going down.

Delaney and Bonnie didn't know it, though.

They were so caught up in themselves, they didn't even know what was going on around them.

But everyone had decided that when they got off the road that there was Delaney and them, which couldn't have been too soon, you know, because everything is spinning out of control.
