Bobby Murray

I was in Toronto for a little bit and then Windsor.

But during that time, yes, I was living in the Detroit area and cutting my teeth with... quite a few of the great blues artists, including Bobby Murray, Alberta Adams.

One of the first jam sessions I went to was...

It was Alberta Adams, and I'll never forget going there, and she had seen me play, and I must have been probably 17 or 18 years old at the time, and she was really moved by my playing,

There's a handful of blues bands that are performing, and great blues guitarists and singers as well.

The great Thornetta Davis, she's based out of Detroit, who is a dear friend of mine.

Bobby Murray recently, sadly he passed, but he was living in the Detroit area as well.
